Air France’s A380 Flight To Singapore Now Has Business Class

 

Passengers will now experience great luxury traveling in Airbus A380 super jumbo traveling to Singapore from Charles de Gaulle, France effective from 1st of April, 2012. After Montreal, Tokyo – Narita, Johannesburg, Washington, New York and Singapore this is the seventh destination for Air France A380 summer schedule.

 

There shall be regular services which are three times a week starting from June to October this year which is after the first commercial flight. It is so arranged that passengers after departure from Singapore can take connecting flights to 5 Australian destinations. Those are Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane with share partner Qantas.

 

Air France – KLM General Manager Mr. Paul Rombeek in charge of Singapore, Indonesia, New Zealand and Australia said that they are quite confident in Singapore’s aim and potential to benefit from the on going favorable condition in the market. He also said that Air France aspires to tone up its place and position in Singapore and Asia as it is prime travel hub in pacific and whole of South East Asia.

 

A380 of Air France are configured in four classes with  total seats of 516.  There are nine first class seats La premiere voyageur located on the main deck. Then you have 38 premium voyageur class seats and 80 business class seats. The economy class that has 389 seats is divided among two decks.

The La Premiere first class has good privacy and lot of space and there are lots of improvements seen in the seats. There is a separate bar area  where people can enjoy their vintage champagne or enjoy the spread on the buffet or have a chat with one another without troubling other people on board. To the front of cabin is a changing area for first class where they can change their clothes before getting to bed or getting ready before their arrival.

Lots of pain was taken to make business class passengers feel relaxed. A380 business class seats are so designed to make every passenger feel relaxed to rest or to work. All the seats have a 2 meter angle and are designed to give its passengers the best possible comfort while take off and landing. Each seat is provided with power connection for using laptop, a storage cabinet on the side for storing personal things and 15 inches LCD video screen in the front for entertainment and news.

A380 has also a feature called mood lighting which automatically changes according the flight stages. It also features an art gallery and has 6 bars located in the main deck and the upper deck.

 

The scheduled departure of flight AF 256 from Paris is 11.20 pm which lands in Singapore at 6 pm the next day.
